Founded in 1881 as University College of St. Andrews, Scotland's oldest University since 1411, the University of Dundee was established in 1967 and is now Scotland's University with the widest range of courses. Two-thirds of its departments or schools have received "excellent" or "highly satisfactory" teaching quality assessment ratings (TQA) from the funding council SHEFC.
